My adrenaline overdose

Wednesday, 9 August, 2006

Sometimes, Uncle Su gets out of his room, go down the stairs to his poor cousin’s door-less room and pretend like he knows Kung-Fu, Samba and Break Dancing.

Its for fun.

My Sunday Morning

Sunday, 6 August, 2006

I just moved in from the room next door.

I jogged in the morning, ate eggs for breakfast and had Indon cuisine for lunch. Yes, life is good as I know it.

I got an update that the latest math exam score for the class was so low that our lecturer is taking a pity-stand on us. He’s concerned that our grades will rocket downwards since that he’s not going to curve our grades. So he’s going to drop our lowest exam question and make the paper over 80 instead of 100. This comes as a really good news to me, since I thought I did really well for 4 out of the 5 questions, and left the one question blank. Theoretically, I’m facing an 80/80 instead of an 80/100. Gracias, senioré Pablo!

Rainier

Saturday, 5 August, 2006

I went to Mt. Rainier today. We got lost for 50 odd miles but things turned better. Getting up close and personal with Rainier was relaxing, but the journey itself is enough to cause me great fatigue. Wouldn’t recommend it for those who enjoy a lazy weekend stroll.

Her skin the color of snow,

her hair black as the night.

Her curves, very curvy.

Her smile, make me hard.

I am so bad with poems… BAH!

Know why I’m such a Bitch?

Sunday, 30 July, 2006

The first thing I look for when I’m browsing Friendster is “Marital Status”, and squirm with pleasure when I find out that some eye-candy friend’s profile has gone from “In a Relationship” to “Single”.

Su, you beotch! *Shakes head*

The 24h Saturday

Saturday, 29 July, 2006

I went to take the Seattle U Toefl test again, this time is for Chris. Went off to Allen’s BBQ, a whole lot of walking today. Discusses a little more on collegehack project, and uh, another long walk back home. Spent some quality time with myself standing on the bridge above I-5, pretty fun. Came home and tweaked a little with collegehack, got tired, going to bed now. (yawn.)

Tuesday, 25 July, 2006

I want to go back to my primary 6 days, being the captain of my athletics team and playing angklung to a hall of audience while wearing a pretty blue batik shirt. :p

Calling or Inspiration or Nonsense.

Tuesday, 25 July, 2006

I had the weirdest of dreams and ideas bursting out of my head for the past 2 nights. Maybe the presence of my family brings inspiration, but I don’t know.

Don’t ask me how, but right now I want to change my major to physical geography/geology and then study tsunamis and volcanos.

Don’t ask me why, but right now I want to talk to Allen about “some business venture”.

Don’t ask me what brings, but right now I’m willing to sacrifice my holiday to accompany a certain friend down to LA.

Funny how brain waves work, huh.

The Lie Family has landed!

… Tuesday at 8pm PST in San Fransisco. Fun time!

Oh, the Linksys has landed too! Still waiting for the Zippo lighter.

Yeah, fun time.

Wanna see a heartbreaking bitch?

Tuesday, 18 July, 2006

Check out LonelyGirl15.

She’s been the phenomenon among youtube dwellers, life-less nerds and lechers alike. (I happen to be both, for the record.)

So this pretty young thing (still 15 yrs old) put up videos of herself, with the help of a supposed good friend, Daniel. Now she found out that he likes her and in her latest video she’s kind of dangling him up like a joke. Have some sense of decency, girl. Plus, do you know what is PRIVACY?

What do they teach home-schooled children nowadays, geesh.

Not that I care though… Just thought some women can be such bitches. You know, the pretty innocent-looking girls acting all sweet and stuff, teasing you and flirting with you at will, and then go all “Ohhh… that’s so sweet but you’re not my type” or “Awww, I thought we are friends?” when she found out that you already fall for her. That’s just

Youtube changes

Tuesday, 18 July, 2006

If you’ve noticed this, youtube has some minor changes with their videos.

  1. If you hover on each youtube video, a “next” button appear, allowing you to move on to the next related video.
  2. At the end of each video, a showcase showing 2 of the most related video is available for you to choose from. And the cycle goes on and on. Neat!

Daily Scripted Conversation #1

Tuesday, 18 July, 2006

I got to know another classmate today. Mike is a Junior and he’s a Filipino born in the states.

Me: Hey do you know how to do this problem?

Mike: No idea. I just did it this way. You should ask the TA.

Me: … OK …

Mike: …

Mike: Hey how did you write so small and so dark? (with a pencil) What kind of lead do you use?

Me: Oh I used a 3B… No wait, you probably don’t have these pencil darkness table here, do you?

Mike: I have no idea what you’re talking about.

He wanted one of my pencil lead to try out, which he liked. He wanted to buy another 2 of those from me, and I ended up giving him my entire lead box.

Mike: Thank man… Hey what’s your name?

Me: Suhendra, what’s yours?

Mike: … S what?

Me: You can just call me Su.:)

Mike: A’ight, thanks Su! I’m Mike.

Not that I’m not proud of my full name, but people here really have difficulty pronouncing my name that I often end up saying “you can just call me Su. All’s good though, all’s good.

That radio clip in my iTunes

Tuesday, 18 July, 2006

I found out that I suddenly have 3 mandarin radio clips in my iTunes.

I think Allen put it there somehow… its from Singapore’s YES 93.3. Now, I didn’t used to listen to 93.3, but one of the clips in there, the one about this lady who ended her 7 year relationship with her boyfriend because of different ideals. She wanted to travel around and explore, while he’s afraid that he might lose her, persisted that she don’t leave, since he can take care of her anyway. So yeah they broke up.

Pretty sad to hear, but hey, if that’s what you gota do for happiness, then you’d gotta do what you gotta do. Cheers. :)

Comcast has landed!

Monday, 17 July, 2006

Apart from all the hype that our house is now a high-speed internet capable one, we don’t actually don’t have a router to hook up the rest of the computers yet, Bummer!

And also, damn OSHA for having the stupid regulations that technical employees are to wear their shoes during house visits! Make my whole house dirty only… and mind you its carpet, idiot! Will take forever to vacuum one idiot! My parents arriving in T-minus 3 days, idiot!

That aside, met some obnoxious asians today. One’s an ABC, the other’s a Hongkonger.

ABC said:

Oh shup up already! SHUT UP. ask during his office hours, idiot!

And Hongkonger said:

…Phmss… That’s not a church. It’s not a Church. Do you know that there can only be one church in a city?

Me: …Uhh, I’m not quite sure. Are you saying that the church I’m recommending is a cult while the one you frequient is the almighty bestest all-truest Church?

HKer: Well, the bibble says that the can only be one church per city. There can only be one Church of Jesus Christ. Did you know that Jerusalem only had a church and 4000 go there every week?

At this point I’m feeling a mixture of pity and absurdity at whatever he’s saying. One, I want to staple his tongue to his nose and pretended that I did not mention GC, two I wanted to rip off the 19″ LCD screen monitor in front of me and ram it up his tiny hole.

Me: Ah, “had” right? Interesting… So when you said city, is it by zip code or by district?

I couldn’t look at him with a straight face anymore. Irony is, GC is the youth ministry program of City Church (Right not, Kai?) If a City is only to have one church, guess what name it should be called…

Someone take pity on me for meeting these people on an almost daily basis. :(

Vivian Hsu

Friday, 14 July, 2006

I saw a girl in UW’s com lab today, and she look a helluva lot like Vivian Hsu.

I only noticed her after choosing my computer, which coincidentally [I swear] is just beside hers. So coincidentally too, I spent three hours sitting on my computer station, doing my own homework [I swear, again], while trying to catch some hints of her nationality and what class she’s taking.

Girl: Yawn…

Me: Scribbles on paper…

Girl: Tsk… (mumble mumble in frustration)

Me: Yawn…

Yes, that’s the kind of intellectual conversation we enjoyed over the span on 3 hours inside the library until it finally closes for the day. I finally found out that she’s probably a Hongkonger since she spoke cantonese on the phone. Sweet voice…melt my heart, awww…

A more fantasy-like conversation would have looked like this:

Me: Miss, you look so stressed, what are you mulling over?

Girl: …

Girl: I’m taking this anal Biology class this quarter, and you know Biology, speaks its own language.

Me: Hmm… Hey, I’m going down to get some drink. Do you want me to get anything for you?

Girl: Uh, no thanks… I’m leaving anyway. You’re a nice guy.

Me: Oh you’re leaving? Hey, I’m leaving too, you wanna grab a bite in U-dist.?

Girl: Uh… Yeah sure! Any recommendation?

I swear I was a script-writer in my past lifetime!

Going to ChÜrch

Allen pulled me along and finally, for a first, I am going “back” to Church. Generation Church is the church. Read the rest of this entry »

The Inspiron has landed!

Tuesday, 11 July, 2006

My sis’s Dell lappie has arrived!

To show how much I love my sister dearest, I chose the parts which tallied to $1500+ for the laptop alone, and another $200 for the printer, mouse and the carrying bag. My, I just blew a hole in Daddy’s pocket. The starting price for the lappie was $699, mind you. I pimped it to twice its value, whooo!

Oh, the lappie ended up being as heavy as mine. But with Dual Core processor, I think she ought to be grateful to me. Best lappie in town, almost like a macbook pro. =]

Even thought I’m sure that she’ll only use it for MSN messenger, Blogger.com, Hotmail, Word and Excel… That’s the least I could have done. [By actually choosing the system requirements based on MY needs, teehehe!]

Photos coming up later! I owe too many people too many photos. Haah.
