Day 10 in Ann Arbor

… And the adrenaline rush has not slowed down either.
Keller has finally arrived. As sweet as Keller is, she brought me to IKEA. There’s this bigass 5-shelves BILLY bookshelf that was cheap and spacious. Both of us were going to get it, but alas nabei people in Michigan also so kiasu, sweep finish all the good deals. But despite that I’m already $150++ poorer.
I followed Evelyn to the recreational sports expo, and tonight at 5pm I’m supposed to turn up for a field hockey training. But in actual fact I’m alone in this computer lab writing this blog post… WITH MY SPORTS CLOTHINGS ON. Bum.
Things aren’t getting better with the roommates. I know, I know. They’re decent people. They’re awesome cool people. They cook, they’re neat, they are smart and good in sports. It’s just that 1 of them is a worse prick than DY. There are countless times when I felt like slapping him across the cheek. But no, I’m a civil person. Plus he’s got bigger biceps than I.
Today I finally got to meet the ever-so-helpful Ted Chen. We conversed on life in Ann Arbor, plans after graduating, Macs, Singapore and others. I need to remind him in the future that he promised to Appreciate the chat, dude. Uh and good luck with the “search” ah.
For the 2 days to come I think I’ll be hiding at home, preparing meals for the next 4-5 days to come, nailing in picture frames to the wall and start reviewing the textbooks (they costs $500+, curses).
So, fingers crossed and pray I’m OK. Deep breath.
