iPhone’s 200+ patents

Wednesday, 10 January, 2007

Something tells me that there’ll be another war of monopolist against the world, microsoft style. 200+ patents? There’s just something wrong here when devotion to Apple the cult has thrown away all questions for the company’s motivation and marketing pattern.

I mean, haven’t people thought o these ideas that are now built in the iPhone? Intuitive scrolling, Picture pinching was created a long time ago, I’ve seen those Stanford geeks work out demos on multi-interactive screens. Heck, we’ve all seen maps being rotated around, zoomed in and out, tilted right and left with the work of 3 fingers. What iPhone can do with maps is just baby stuff.

The question is, why aren’t all our laptops built this way if it has been thought of for so long? Why only Apple, and why only now? If iPhone is trying to be a leader in tablet PC, why not give expandable memory and battery slots for it now?

As always I’m predicting that they’re going to do other voodoo magic with upgrades for this and that in the span of a year of iPhone’s release.
