When the going gets tough you can always work 18-hour days, sleep at 1am and wake up 6am, and there is U2 songs to cheer you up.

Till then all you can do is just savour every moment you have right now and prepare for the fight.

One of the many reasons I have been faltering and aimless is because I’m an Atheist. Because I’m supposed to know better.

But more than anything, I need a belief now. God save me.

Spent CNY away from family the first time in years.

went to UW for summer

Had my sis come over to Calif. for her further studies

Had Allen over for Dec holidays and summer

moved out of Lynnwood due to petty conflicts

went to Borobudur

found love in Photography

Found solace in running

visited friends in Singapore during their most hectic exam period

applied to multiple universities

got promoted in my job

spent xmas alone ironing my clothes, and lied about it

still have problem with procrastination, pr0n and such.

Bah I cannot believe my previous post got deleted just like that!

I was doing my reflection for 2006, and an hour later my cursor clicked on a saved post, and then all that I have written disappeared, just like that.

Dear all,

Please have the answers you’ve been looking for, the break you’ve been waiting for and the fun, food, alcohol that you so deserve. I will be away restructuring my own life heh heh.

I don’t think I will be doing any more quarterly/yearly resolutions. They don’t work. They may be well-penned at times, but this boy just don’t spend enough time reflecting on them. So I will be penning my own private journal from now on.

I was really naive to think that blogging = journal keeping.

unclesu.com will stay, only less for my emotional housekeeping. I can see bright plans for my blog next year.

ETS online system is the worst one, ever!

First, they fucking scheduled my testing date and venue from Vancouver, WA to Vancouver BC, Canada.

Second, they went into “maintenance” for fucking 2 weeks when my scores are supposed to be already out.

Third, now that I want to order my 5th recipient for my test score, they told me there is a fucking “An application error has occurred. Please wait a few minutes, then resubmit your request.”, TWICE!

ETS if you don’t want my $17 of business, that’s mighty fine with me. Just fucking do a good job so that everyone all over the world can get to the school of their choice. Corporate whores, that’s what you are, taking advantage of us who are obliged to be tested for our English efficiency that is TOEFL. Either ETS get their acts together or the USA education system better get another company to hold this worldwide examination.

ETS, you better get a more competent webmaster if you want to continue serving everyone all over the world who is required to take your fucking TOEFL exam. And please not be such a cheapskate and get yourself some new servers.

I am in love with CBS’s Late Late Night show with Craig Ferguson. That guy is such a cracker! I think I’m going to buy his book “Between the Bridge and the River”. One of the reviews quoted him like this.

As one reviewer aptly states, Ferguson “is not a talk-show host moonlighting as an author - it might be the other way around”.

For all of us in wordpress.com, there is a shortcut that will ‘unleash’ the editor toolbar.
Toggle simple/advanced toolbar:
firefox 2   alt + shift + v
firefox 1.5 alt + v
IE   alt + b v

you can change the font color and include special symbols.

“More” function:
Firefox 2   alt + shift + t
firefox 1.5  alt + t

“add page” function:
firefox 2 alt + shift + g
firefox 1.5 alt + g

More shortcuts can be seen when you hover your mouse on the buttons.

Why WordPress.com have not revealed this officially, that I don’t know. These functionalities are available with direct downloads of wordpress for independent users, and I found them in wordpress.com by accidental clicks. Then they took the advanced editor functionality off wordpress.com, and only put them up again only recently. Please tell me what I don’t know.
