Hiatus

I learned of the word hiatus from blogging.

This is probably one of the few worthless stuff I have learned from blogging. The other main part I learned is of course, I can waste a whole lot of time blogging. To the extent of pretty much neglecting everything else that I have to take care of. Like, now.

My life hasn’t been exacly enhanced in any particular way since I’ve started blogging. This is why I’m going to take a long hiatus from blogging. Not just from blogging, but from reading blogs too. And all the 90+ other feeds inmy bloglines subscription. Yes, from today onwards my posts will be less frequent, and I am going to delete everything I’ve downloaded into my laptop that smells blog. From that w.bloggar editing platform, to performancing for firefox extension to the little toolbar bookmarks that leads to bloglines, flickr and del.icio.us.

The only shortcuts left on my browser will be that trip planner for my bus, my gmail and my links to shoreline and UW. Short and simple. Come Fall, my life’s got to be way organized if I still want to be in control of my life. Being a treasurer isn’t any peasy job, folks. Now, I value respect. I cannot get that without doing a good job or loosing myself of the responsibilities I have thrown myself at.

I have goals that have been eroded off my mind since blogging. I cannot let that go on for too long. Hype is hype, but life must go on. So let the hiatus begin.

And I need a guardian who’ll give me a slap everytime I start wasting time researching that empty web2.0 hype again. Any takers?

Bye, bloggersphere. constantlysu and unclesuuu, suicide!

See this?

See this?

That “See this?” is meant to look underlined, bolded, italiced and striked-through. Hmmpphhh! What the hell, just when I thought everything is perfect, I realized that performancing can’t be sync-ed with wordpress.com when it comes to bolding, italicing and strikethroughing.

Kiss my bender, both your performancing and wordpress.com, I’m heading back to blogger.com!
